COLLISION NEAR TEMUKA

THREE PERSONS INJURED Three persons were injured in a collision between two cars on the Main South road near Temuka late on Saturday night. The accident occurred about a mile south of the Old Mil] road comer. Th® driver of one of the cars, Gerald Greer, of Temuka, suffered a fracture and severe lacerations of the right arm and a suspected fracture of the leg. His condition was reported as seridus. The driver of the second car, David McMillan, of Timaru. suffered severe cuts to his forehead, shock, and bruises to his neck. A passenger in his car. Beverley Ellen McMillan, aged 16, of Washdyke, was cut under the chin and suffered shock. After medical attention by Dr. I. J. Leitch, of. Temuka, the injured were taken to the Timaru Public Hospital by the Geraldine St John Ambulance.
