SYDNEY-NOUMEA YACHT RACE
(Rec. 11 p.m.) SYDNEY, Sept. 20. The Sydney-Noumea yacht race, which started from Sydney on September 12, was won by the yacht Irene, which took seven days, lOhrs, 50min to complete the journey. On corrected time, this was five days, 7hr 7min 13sec. , The White Cloud was smin ahead of the Irene across the finishing line, but as all the competitors have not yet finished, the placings for second and third have not been decided.
