CHINESE TROOPS IN BURMA
EVACUATION TALKS BREAK DOWN
RANGOON, September 17. The talks in Bangkok on the evacuation of the Chinese Nationalist guerrillas from Burma have broken down, and the Burmese delegates are being recalled, a government spokesman said.
The talks on the evacuation began last May. but reached a stalemate at the end of July. The Burmese Prime Minister (Mr U. Nu) said that Burma would never be satisfied with anything less than the total evacuation of the KuominJang Chinese Nationalist forces from Burma.
