N.Z. GOLFERS IN AUSTRALIA

(Rec. 11.30 p.m.) SYDNEY, Sept. 17. The New Zealand golfers received “tuition” from the former Australian professional champion, Norman von Nida, at the New South wales course today. Von Nida played 18 •holes with the New Zealanders. He spent some time with each member of the visiting team, and gave them advice on correcting faults. Particular attention was given by von Nida to putting, which has been a weakness of the New Zealanders in matches in Australia so far.

After the round, the manager of the team (Mr K. Glendinnihg) said he and his players appreciated von Nida’s action in helping them. The New Zealanders win have another practice round tomorrow.
