QUIET WEDDING PLANNED
SIR EDMUND HILLARY AND MISS ROSE
A white over gold wedding gown will be worn by Miss Louise Rose for her wedding to Sir Edmund Hillary on Thursday afternoon. The ceremony will take place in the Diocesan Girls’ High School chapel. Auckland, and the reception will be held at the home of the bride’s parents. Mr and Mrs J. H. Rose. Remuera road.
Mrs Rose said that the wedding would be a very quiet one. purely for family and friends and with no official guests.
Miss Rosalie Goodyear, of Kati Kati, who was at university with Miss Rose, will be bridesmaid, wearing apple green. They have done a number of climbs together. Best man will be Mr George Lowe.
