Indoor Bowling Rinks.—A scheme for the construction of indoor bowling rinks of rubber or felt to help satisfy the needs of a growing number of indoor bowlers in Christchurch has been worked out by Mr J. T. Erridge, who is himself a bowler. A section near Abberley Park is available and Mr Erridge has already received offers to buy debentures. The proposed building would be 190 ft by 130 ft and would be something like a hangar. There would be 12 rinks each 110 ft long and 15ft wide, sets of bowls would be available for hire and there vould be seating accommodation for spectators.
