AUSTRALIA WINS AT LORDS
GENTLEMEN BEATEN BY EIGHT WICKETS
LONDON, August 28. Arthur Morris hit his first century of the tour at Lord’s, tojlay when the Australians beat Gentlemen of England by eight wickets, to record the tourists’ twelfth win of the tour.
The Australians were set 253 runs for victory in 270 minutes, when Gentlemen were dismissed in theirsecond innings for 249. They got the runs with 63 minutes to spare, for the loss of only two wickets.
