CANTERBURY CAR CLUB’S ANNUAL BALL

The annual ball of the Canterbury Car Club was held in the Scottish Hall, Gloucester street, last evening. It wag attended by about 200 members and their friends, who had come from all parts of Canterbury. Between 50 and 60 trophies and prizes won by the members during the year were presented by Mrs J. Tutton, wife of the president. Members of the committee responsible for arranging the ball were Messrs J. Tutton (president), A. Barnsdale, R, J. Riley, F. Sharman, W. McDonald. E. Beckett. A. Clarke, D. Wild, M. Knowles. Mrs F. Sharman, and Miss Nola Blackbum.
