Robson, was in brilliant form when the New Zealand team beat New South Wales by 8 games (145 aces) to 2 games (82 aces) at Newcastle. Robson beat H. Impey, 21-1. There was a big surprise in the mixed doubles, however, when Robson and Mrs Robson were beaten, 15-12, by Impey and Mrs C. Sciffer.
