ARMY TRAINING SYSTEM

A team of Regular Army instructors will arrive at Burnham Military Camp today to study the training courses given national servicemen. Major E. R. Firth, 8.E.M., will be officer in Charge of the team, which will stay -for four days. Teams from the schools of artillery and infantry will also visit Burnham from September 6 to September 8. The object of the visits will be to see whether the courses for instructors at Army schools require amending; to study problems of training so that these can be passed on to future instructors; and to see whether the standards required by the Army training directive are being achieved. All training camps in the three military districts will be visited by the teams.
