N.Z. WOMAN FINED IN BRITAIN

(N.Z. Press Association—Copyright) „ . LONDON, July 17. Mrs Vivienne Blanche Dunn, of Radnor Place, London, was fined £5O at Southampton today after pleading guilty to attempted evasion of the currency regulations by importing 52 £1 Bank of England notes and two 10s notes.

The prosecutor said that when Mrs Dunn arrived from New Zealand in the liner Rangitata 40 £1 sterling notes were found sewn in the coat she was wearing. The rest of the money was concealed in other clothing.
