Ice Skating Championships.— TTie figure and dancing sections of the New Zealand ice skating championships. which were to have -been held at the Cromwell artificial rink today, were switched yesterday morning to a dam six miles from Queenstown after a conference of the counc?t the Dominion Ice-Skating Association. The ice on the Cromwell ring is only four inches thick, but that on the dam near Queenstown is six feet thick.—(P.A.)
