BLANKETS AND CLOTHING TO LEAVE TOMORROW

(New Zealand Press Association) WELLINGTON, July 13. When the Gothic sails from Wellington on Wednesday she will carry two bales of blankets, 20 cases of shoes and clothing, and a number of spinning wheels from the Council of Organisations for Relief Services Overseas to destitute villagers in Greece. Six cases from Levin and three from Nelson will go direct to the Greek villages of Drossia and Eatirion, the villages adopted by Levin and Nelson under the village adoption scheme. The remainder are to go to charitable organisations, which will distribute the goods where they are most needed.
