AUCKLAND, July 11. Twenty Auckland doctors— thought to be representative of the whole profession—had an average net income of £1535 each in the year ended March 31, 1952. This was after provision had been made for interest on capital outlay, running expenses of practice, postgraduate studies and retirement. For this income they worked from 65 to 70 hours a week, and about threeauarters of their income came from le Social Security Fund.
