HILLARY LOST WEIGHT

“TIRED FOR DAYS” AFTER CLIMB KATMANDU, June 23. Sir Edmund Hillary lost 2st in weight on the Everest climb, and he felt tired for days afterwards, he said today. It was impossible to scale Everest without oxygen. He said that when he removed his oxygen mask after 10 minutes on the summit he began to feel dizzy and slow. “I plan to come back to the Himalayas, but not to Everest,” he said. Sir Edmund Hillary said he had no matrimonial plans, but he added: “I do have a girl friend.” Two members of the British expedition, Dr. Michael Ward and Major Charles Wylie, left Katmandu today for India by road with two truckloads of heavy equipment.
