MAGISTRATE’S COURT AT RANGIORA
Fines for breaches of the traffic regulations were imposed by Mr Raymond Ferner, S.M., at a sitting of the Rangiora Magistrate’s Court yesterday as follows: Failing to give way to traffic on the right: Frederick James Alexander Fraser, £2. Speeding: John Henry Moore, £2 (no warrant of fitness, LOs); Ross Murray, £2; Peter Wells, £2 (speeding with pillion passenger, £2). Operating noisy motor vehicle: Reynolds Joseph Philpott, 20s (defective brakes, 30s; no warrant, IGs); Woods Haulage, Ltd., £2. No heavy traffic licence: George Baden Powell, 20s on each of two charges. Unsatisfactory lights on vehicle: Thomas Arthur Roberts, £2.
