SAFE CONTAINING £70 STOLEN
When members of the Ex-Naval Men’s Association (Christchurch branch) went to their rooms at 160 High street on Sunday afternoon to attend a special meeting they found that a safe containing about £7O had been stolen. All the lockers in a small room had been forced open, apparently by the thief or thieves in search of the safe.
