RETURN OF K FORCE DRAFT
46 TO ARRIVE TOMORROW (New Zealand Press Association) WELLINGTON, June 22. A draft of two officers and 44 men from K Force left Iwakuni, in southern J&pan, on Saturday on the first stage of their return to New Zealand. Half of the draft, which is mostly composed of men of the Royal New Zealand Army Service Corps, is due at Wellington at 7.30 a.m. on Wednesday, and the remainder are expected at Auckland at 4.15 o’clock in the afternoon. Among those to arrive at Wellington are: Warrant Officer J. A. Middleton (Christchurch), Corporal M. D. Stewart (Nelson Creek), Lance-Cor-porals P. B. McFarlane (Nelson) and A. K. Seiwood (Christchurch), Signalman G. R. Taylor (Allanton), Drivers R. J. Nancarrow (Nelson), T. Payne (Christchurch), R. A. Pierson (Christchurch); C. W. Quinn (Kaiapoi), R. A. P. Summerton (Christchurch), and T. Williams (Nelson). K FORCE CASUALTY (New Zealand Press association) WELLINGTON, June 22. A K Force casualty list issued today says that Lance-Bombardier Edmund William Parkinson has been wounded. His mother is Mrs C. M. Parkinson, of Sydney.
