VICEREGAL (New Zealand Press Association) WELLINGTON. June 21. The Governor-General (Sir Willoughby Norrie) and Lady Norrie, attended by their personal staff, were Bresent8 resent at Athletic Park for the •nslow-Marist Rugby football match on Saturday. This afternoon his Excellency attended a service of dedication on the site of the Wellington City Mission’s Darby and Joan . Hostel. Taranaki street, and laid the foundation stone. This evening Sir Willoughby Norrie, as prior of the order in New Zealand, and Lady Norrie, attended the annual church parade of the St. John Ambulance Brigade at Wesley Church, Taranaki street. The Rev. W. S. Greenslade preached.

Dr. J. M. Wogan, director of the Tuberculosis Division of the Department of Health, arrived in Christchurch yesterday. He will address the annual meeting of the Tuberculosis Association this evening. The following nominations have been received for the three vacancies for, producers’ representatives on the New Zealand Meat Producers’ Board: Messrs D. H. Cockburn (Queenstown), F. C. Johnstone (Waitetuna), W. W. Mulholland (Darfield) (sitting members), I. G. Fraser (Invercargill), and J. N. McGregor (Ohai). The election will be held on August 26. Mr H. Sweney, the only remaining foundation member of the Christchurch Competitions Society, has announced that he has resigned from the society. Mr Sweney was the oldest stage manager of any competitions society in New Zealand.
