WATTY LAWN WINS MEMORIAL
(New Zealand Press Association) 4 HAMILTON, June 21. The Waikato Trotting Club’s winter meting was held at Claudelands on Saturday in fine weather, before a large attendance. The track was very heavy after continuous rain during the week. The trotting was of a high standard. The double, Watty Lawn and Headmaster, paid £lB 7s 6d for £l. The totalisator oncourse handled £51,480 5s (including £5136 5s in doubles); off-course £37,280 10s (including £16,078 10s in doubles)—a total of £88,760 15s. The turnover oncourse last year was £51,227. Results:—
