COMMUNISTS IN JAPAN
(Rec. 11.30 p.m.) TOKYO, June 12. The Japanese police said today that Japanese Communists were secretly arming for revolution. During recent raids on party members’ houses, they found rifles, ammunition, explosives, and a bazookalike! weapon, they said. They believed the Communist Party’s present peaceful policy was merely a cover for preparations for revolt.
