Punakaiki Scienic Reserve
Control of more than 3750 acres of scenic reserves in the Nelson and Westland land districts has been vested in a special board named the Funakaiki Scenic Board, according to a Gazette notice. Members of the new board, appointed for five years under the Scenery Preservation Act, are the Commissioner of Crown Lands for the Westland land district, who is ex officio, and Messrs F. A. Kitch’P gbdm - C- H. Morrison, J. H. Powell, A. R. Thompson, W F. Harley, and R. J. Truman.
