NEW HALSWELL SCHOOL
TENDERS CALLED FOR BUILDING Tenders are called today for the erection of a new school at Halswell to replace the building about which so many complaints were made last year at householders’ meetings. The new block will be of three standard classrooms, with staff room, cloak rooms, and other amenities under the one roof. A dental clinic is also included in the contract. The Halswell School has one classroom that is not nearly so old as the main building.
