Messrs L. S. Bunz, A. W. Finch, I J Mlles, J. Olds, and M. B. Restall of Christchurch, have been admitted to the New Zealand Society of Accountants with the status of associate registered accountant (1.R.A.N.Z.). Messrs & A. Wright, of Christchurch, and J. W. Stockwell, of Timaru. have been granted transfers of status ‘to associate public accountant (A.P.A.N.Z.). Mr W. R. Poland ’will retire on Monday from the secretaryship of the Highways'Board, a post he has held for the last 14 years.—(P.A.) Mr C. H. Perkins has, been reappointed as nominee of th*e GovernorGeneral on the Canterbury University College Council.
