(New Zealand Press Association) WELLINGTON, June 1. The Governor-General (Sir Willoughby Norrie) has sent the following telegram to the Queen:— “On this day set aside for the observance of Your Majesty’s birthday in New Zealand. I beg with humble duty to tender to Your Majesty on behalf of the Government ana peonies of New Zealand and its islana territories, most loyal and affectionate greetings, and to assure you of their steadfast devotion to Your Majesty and the Throne. “All in New Zealand are looking forward with the greatest pleasure and anticipation to Your Majesty’s visit tc New Zealand in December and January next.”
