RADIO TRIBUTE TO QUEEN

LONDON, May 31. A few hours after the Queen is crowned in Westminster Abbey, great men and women of the Commonwealth and humble ones will join m broadcasting a tribute to her. The broadcast, entitled “Long Live the Queen.” will last for 55 mnutes and will be made before Sir Winston Churchill introduces the Queen, who will speak to the world. Taking part will be Queen Salote of Tonga, nine Commonwealth Prime Ministers, sultans, and chiefs. Among other speakers will be a school teacher from Scotland, a Welsh farmer, Royal Air Force officers, who will pilot jet aircraft in the Coronation Day fly-past, and a company sergeant-major in the Queens Company of the Grenadier Guards, who wiH guard the regalia with other guardsmen during the Coronation ceremony.
