LONDON, May 22. County cricket matches resulted:— Somersetshire. 156 (Jackson five for 51) and 118, lost to Derbyshire 295 (Revill 111 not out; Buse five for 61) by an innings and 21 runs.

Northamptonshire 276 (Martin four for 64) and 252 declared (Oldfield 77, Livingston 67) beat Kent 217 (Upton 83 not out) and 294 (Evans 75; Brown five for 94) by 17 runs. Leicestershire 91 (Shackleton six for 48, Cannings three for 28) and 196 (Palmer 192 not out;- Shackleton five for 67) drew with Hampshire, seven for 370 declared (Walker 101 not out, Prouton 90). Gloucestershire 93 (McMahon four for 58) and seven for 281 declared (Emmett 108) drew with Surrey 245 (Constable 81; Scott eight for 90) and one for 65. Yorkshire 258 (Hutton 100; Perks five for 63) and five for 208 declared beat Worcestershire 166 (Wardle seven for s(j) and 228 (Richardson 78) by 72 runs. Warwickshire 175 (Wolton 65 not out) and 112 beat Combined Services 85 (Pritchard five for 27) and 90 (Bannister six for 21) by an innings and 112 runs. Glamorgan 269 (Parkhouse 73, Watkins 73; R.
