PROCESSION QF WITNESS TO CATHEDRAL

Anglican clergy, lay readers, parish choirs, and Bible class members, marched in a procession of witness to the Christchurch Cathedral last evening for a special Ascension Day service. , The procession, led by drummers, marched from St. John’s Church, Latimer square, by way of Gloucester street. ’

The procession and service were arranged by the Bible Class Union. The Bishop of Christchurch (the Rt Rev. A K. warren) preached the sermon at the service.
