ANNUAL MEETING

Grant, president of the board of directors of the association, presiding. , Mrs Grant. explained that the dub had been formed for about three or four years and its usefulness was proved Ay the fact that at its regular, meeting the attendance was often 80, With. a. preponderance of man. .Inclußeq fatthis number were men and women from as many as 20 countries, of varying ages and. of very different backgrounds, and indications pointed to an expansion of the club’s activities. Q A .short talk was given by Miss J. B. Hardie, general secretary of the association, a coloured film of India was screened by Mr Norman Franz, and ssataLmst Officers were elected as follows: patron, the Mayor <Mr R. M.
