Time Sheets Missing About Anzac Day week-end the time sheets of shunters and general hands at -the Christchurch Hauway Station were taken from the shunters* lodge by some unauthorised person, with the result that the department could pay men only on the basis of the usual eight-hour day for a fortnight. Since then adjustments have been made, and all the men who had incurred overtime have been paid, duplicate time sheets having been prepared. Some of the missing time sheets and some torn sheets were recovered. The department has been inquiring into the disappearance.
