SUICIDE OF BUSHMAN
HEARING CONCLUDED AT GREYMOUTH
(From Our Own Reporter) GREYMOUTH, May 14. Medical evidence called by toe plaintiff and defendant company was given when thd hearing of a claim for £2OOO in compensation against the Lake Brunner Sawmilling Company, of Ruru, was concluded before Judge Dalglish in the Compensation Court at Greymouth today. I The claim has been made by Mrs Marion Lloyd Crengle, a widow, now of Invercargill, on the grounds that her husband, James Daniel Crengle. a bushman, committed suicide while insane, following an injury he suffered to his head two weeks previously, while working for the company. Mrs Crengle is also claiming £5O for funeral expenses and costs. The claim was adjourned to Christchurch for further medical evidence. Mr W. D. Taylor is appearing tor Mrs Crngele, and Mr R. P. Thompson for the defendant company.
