SKI-ING FILMS SHOWN
An inter-Dominion Ski-ing contest in Victoria in 1951, the New Zealand Olympic ski-ing team in Europe in 1952, and climbing the Matterhorn,' were the subjects of films shown by Mr Roy McKenzie to an audience of 170 persons in the Jellicoe Hall last evening. Mr McKenzie, who was captain of the New Zealand ski-ing team that competed at the Winter Olympic Games at Oslo, made more than £2O last evening to help finance a scholarship for junior skiers. Also shown was a film of the 1952. Canterbury championships.
