MOTOR-CYCLE ACCIDENTS
Sir,—ln answer to “3J H.P.” I, for one, do not think there is anything wrong with motor-cycles today except that many are too high-powered. Also I am definitely against pillion-riding, having had long experience to back this statement up. The makers should attach a label to each machine: “Not to be ridden by nit-wits.” The powers that be will have to consider speed ■with all motor traffic. It is getting out of hand—far too many accidents. —Yours, etc., COMMON SENSE. Timaru, May 5, 1953.
