Fire in Rail-car.— A fire in the luggage compartment of a rail-car damaged mail, papers, and luggage at Waihua about 10.30 a.m. on Saturday. The rail-car was waiting for the Gis-borne-Wellington express to pass it, when the fire was discovered.
