The need for repairs to the organ in the Christchurch Cathedral has been brought to the notice of the Cathedral Chapter by the organist (Mr C. Foster Browne). The repairs he considers necessary include the renewal of the pneumatic motors, a thorough cleaning of the instrument, and the installation of more modern action on the controls of the swell and door shutters. The chapter has asked for a report -from those who service the organ and an estimate of the cost of the work.
