DEATH OF WHIRLAW AY The famous American horse Whirlaway died at Mr Boussac’s stud in France last week, ♦ A son of the English Derby winner, Blenheim, Whirlaway was the best American performer of his time, and was the first horse to win 500,000 dollars. Mr Boussac bought Whirlaway from Mr Warren Wright shortly after the Second World War for breeding.
