ODDFELLOWS’ FUNDS
CONFERENCE DECIDES ALLOCATIONS (New Zealand Press Association) WELLINGTON, April 8. The conference of the Manchester Unity Oddfellows today decided to dispose of portion of the society’s funeral fund surplus of £57,996 as follows: management purposes. £12,500; maternity benefits, £2500; distribution among lodges, £29,732. The conference decided to pay maternity benefits at the rate of £5 on each £lOO insurance held by a member, with a limit of £l5 for each birth.
