PUBLIC NOTICE PURSUANT TO SECTION 2 OF THE RABBIT NUISANCE AMENDMENT ACT, 1952. NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Parnassus Rabbit Board has, by Resolution dated the 2nd day of April, 1953, classified all the land in its district for the purpose of levying a rate on a graduated scale for the period commencing on April Ist, 1953, and ending on March 31st, 1954. A list setting forth such classification may be inspected without fee at the offices of the Board at 222 Oxford terrace, Christchurch, between, the hours of 9 a.m. and 5 pm. on week-days, and such list will be open for inspection from 9 a.m. on Thursday, the 9th day of April,. 1953, until 5 p.m. on Friday, the Bth day of May, 1953. Notice of Appeal by any person aggrieved by the classification must be filed in the Magistrate’s Court at Christchurch within seven days of the last mentioned date, and a copy thereof lodged with the Board at the above address. NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Parnassus Rabbit Board intends at a meeting of the Board, to be held at Parnassus at 2 p.m. on Thursday, 28th May, 1953, to make and levy a rate on the land in its district for the period commencing on, April 1, 1953, and ending on March 31, 1954, in the following proportions in respect of the following classes of land: Is per acre in respect of land in Class I of its classification list. 4d per acre in respect of land in Class II of its -classification list. AND NOTICE IS HEREBY FURTHER GIVEN that the time for giving written notice objecting to the proposed proportions expires after a period of twentyeight days from the date of publication of this Notice, and that the address of the offices of the Board at which such objections may be filed is 222 Oxford terrace, Christchurch. AND NOTICE IS HEREBY FURTHER GIVEN that the said rate will become payable at the office of the Board in one sum on the Ist day of June, 1953, and that the Rate Book is open for inspection without fee by ratepayers between 9 a.m. and 5 p m., Monday to Friday.
