ELECTION OF OFFICERS The following officers were elected at the annual meeting of the Christchurch Pony Club last evening:— President, Major G. F. Hutton; district commissioner, Mr D. M. Lamb; secretary, Miss B. Harris; show secretary, Mrs D. Crowther; treasurer, Mr J. N. Macfarlane; committee, Messrs J. Johns and N. McGowan (Belfast), Mr A. McDonald and Mrs S. Bowen (Cust), Mesdames H. Mcßride and Aitken (Banks • Peninsula), Miss H. Rich (Cashmere), Messrs R. Smith and J. H. Sluis (Fendalton), Messrs Livingstone and Monk (Riccarton), Mesdames Crowther and Loney (Halswell). The following presentations were made:—Branch trophy: Riccarton 1, Fendalton 2, Belfast 3. Competitor under 12 years gaining most points: Marion Bush. Pony winning most points (cup and champion ribbon): Miss J. Sluis and Mrs J. East.
