The appointment of the Rev. D. GShaw, of Meth ven, to Bryndwr wa recommended to the home committee by the Christchurch Pres* bytery, which met at Rangiora la B evening. Messrs R. J. H. Boyd and N. jOwens, of Christchurch, have been ajj mitted to the New Zealand Society 0Accountants with the status 0 associate registered accountan (A.R.A.N.Z.). Mr C. Sanderson was elected a lu* member of the Canterbury Footoai Association on Tuesday evening. Sanderson has been a member of tn management committee for 16 >' ea L, and has held the position of secretary' treasurer since 1942. Mr T. M. Guigan was appointed secretary of tn association. Mr McGuigan has been * member of the committee for six yea” and has been a trustee of the associa' tion for the last three years. The Christchurch Presbytery decided last evening to recommend the ar pointment of the Rev. W. van Wynge* chaplain to the Student Christian Movement, as assistant-minister at » Andrew’s Church.
