MERIVALE CLUB The following officers were elected at the annual meeting of the Merivale Rugby Football Club:—president, Mr R. w. Blazey; vice-president. Mr C. R. Dickie was added to the list; club captain, Mr F. G. Dick; secretary-treasurer, Mr W. E Mayell; assistant secretary, Mr W. J. Guilford; committee, Messrs H. Jordan, G. A. Shaw, R. Richardson, H. N. Leggoe, J. A. Pearce, S. Bridgewater; delegates to Rugby Union, Messrs W. E. J. Maxwell, R. W. Blazey. Dick, and W. H. Lodge; auditors. Messrs H. C. Blazey and Maxwell; delegate to Sports Protection Association, Mr W. G. Duggan; delegates to junior advisory board, Messrs C. Roberts, G. Rodgerson, D. Yaxley, A. O’Rourke, J. Sei wood; appeal board. Messrs R. G. Drake, Lodge, N. Carnegie. Roberts, B. G. Baldwin; life members. Messrs L. Clarke. W. J. Drake, H. Drummond. S. C. Evans, B. W. Roberts. T. Pidgeon. Opening day was fixed for Saturday. March 21.
