DOMINION R.S.A. TOURNAMENT STRATFORD FOUR WINS AT WANGANUI (New Zealand. Press Association) oc . WANGANUI, March 8. The Stratford R.S.A. won the New Zealand Returned Services’ Association bowling tournament, which concluded in Wanganui today. A total of 46 fours, reB resenting R.S.A. districts throughout the ominlon, competed, and four teams qualified for post-section play. The qualifiers were Stratford, South Canterbury. Gisborne, and Nelson. In the semi-finals, Stratford beat Nelson, 10-5, over eight ends, and South Canterbury beat Gisborne 5-3. In the final, Stratford beat South Canterbury 21-15. The Hanan Trophy, a prize for competition between the North and South Isiands. was won by the South Island by 981 points to 956. The next tournament will be held in Nelson.
