MAGISTRATE’S COURT On a charge of using insulting language in a public place, Malcolm Martin McLeod, aged 26, a seaman, was convicted and fined £3 by Messrs W. T. Lester and T. A. Mahar, Justices of the Peace, in the Magistrate’s Court at Lyttelton bn Saturday. Sergeant D. G. L. Simpson, who prosecuted, said that McLeod had. become involved in an argument with some waterside workers.
