NEW ATTACK ON PYONGYANG

(Rec. 11.30 p.m.) SEOUL, Feb. 16. Superfortresses last night struck near the North Korean capital, Pyongyang, for the fifth time in nine nights. The Air Force said that big fires were started in a supply and communications area eight miles northwest of the city.

Photographic .reconnaissance showed that 180,000 square feet of buildings were destroyed and 12,000 square feet damaged in the Superfortress raid on Pyongyang on February 7.
