DISPUTE ON OYSTER PRICE
FLEET REMAINS AT BLUFF (New Zealand Press Association) DUNEDIN. February 16. The oyster fleet again remained at Bluff today because of the dispute between oystermen and merchants on the new season’s price. This is the second day of the season that the fleet has not put to sea. There is no indication yet of a break in.the price deadlock.
The secretary of the Seamen’s Union (Mr W. R. Clarke, of Dunedin) said that reasonable conciliation on both sides would ensure an amicable agreement. He would not comment further.
