WeHington wUI play New South Wales in a women’s tennis match at Central Park on February 14.

Unofficial information given to the Wellington Lawn Tennis Association at its meeting last night indicated that Wellington would not have a match with the Australian men’s team. A match between New Zealand and Australia will be played at Mitchell Park on February 28. It will be staged by the Hutt Valley Association. The tour of the women’s team will be conducted by the New Zealand Lawn Tennis Association on the pool system. There will be no guarantees. The Wellington Association decided to postpone the match against Canterbury, which was to have been played on February 14, and will suggest March 14 as an alternative date.
