ST. SAVIOUR’S DRAMA CIRCLE Four one-act plays were presented by the St. Saviour s Drama Circle in the St. Saviour’s schoolroom, Lyttelton, last evening, to a large audience. “The Telephone Never Rings,” a comedy by F. L. Cary and Philip King, was produced by Ray Collins,' and the players were Louisa Tomson, Peter Hobbs, Douglas Collins, Valmai Taylor, Joyce May, Lois Alexander, and Andrew Hafferty. “In the Fog,” a farce by Gertrude Jennings, was produced by Bruce Gilmore, and was played by Dorothea Baird, Patricia Prisk, Rose Illingworth, and Rona Loader. In “A Strange Parallel,” a thriller by Howard Agg, the cast was Rona Loader, Jean Brasell, Valmai Taylor, Bob Prisk, Ray Collins, and Gavin Sneddon. The pl ay was produced by Ray Collins. ‘The Crimson Coconut,” a comedy by lan Hay, was produced by Douglas Collins with the following cast:—Andrew Rafferty, Bruce Gilmore, Gavin Sneddon, Shirley McLean, Bee Pomare, and Gladys Prisk.
