REPORT OF LEADERS’ MEETING TAIPEH. January 18. The Chinese National Defence Ministry said today that all Communist leaders in Asia would meet in Peking next month to map new strategy. . The Ministry’s information service said it was probable that, Mr Mao Tsetung. Communist China’s leader, would visit Moscow to receive in; structions from his Russian masters. The Nationalists maintain an underground intelligence network in Communist China which in the past has tipped off coming moves. The Ministry said it. had learned that Mr Mao would insist on the organisation of an international aidKorea volunteer army, the expansion of war in Indq-China. and large-scale subversive activities in Japan, Siam, and Burma.
N.Z. Army Rugby Team Beaten. — Meiji University beat the New Zealand Army Rugby team. 22-19 It was the New Zealanders’ first defeat this season. They had scored 994 points in 20 games, with only 28 points recorded against them. Mein University is Japan’s leading Rugby team.— Tokyo, January 18.
