ELIMINATIONS FROM FIELDS
The following horses were eliminated from races on the second day of the New Zealand Metropolitan Trotting Club’s meeting at Addington tomorrow:— Hayward Handicap: Sahara Queen. Ikaroa, Logan Fame, Sandy Logan, Sirocco, Perpetua, Scotch Drift. New Zealand Metropolitan Challenge Stakes: Bleddyn, Heroism, Kingsdown Grattan, Sandman, Barney Dillon, Colonel Scott. Flower Girl, Rola Veyor, Whiz, Alkm.
Cashmere Handicap: Cincinnatus, Officious. San Fernando, El Supremo, Squire Dillon, Desert Flight, Maid Myra, Bonny Brogue.
Addington Doubles Dividend
The doubles dividend returned by the Gay Dene-Gay Lyric bracket and the Adorian-Victory Song bracket on the first day of the New Zealand Trotting Cup meeting on Tuesday was £lO 17s for £l. In a pool of 149,646 5s tickets on the first leg of the double, the Canterbury Handicap, 24,399 were invested on the Gay Dene bracket. Twenty-five tickets were not redeemed, and 11,387 were reinvested on the Adorian bracket.
