AVONDALE LADIES’ CLUB Mid-week members of the Avondale Ladies’ Club held their closing day yesterday. The following trophies were won:— Avondale Cup: Miss A. Chapman; run-ner-up, Mrs A. Barron. Aranui Cup: Mrs A. L. Large; runner-Up, Mrs A. Barron. Flight: Miss A. Hine: runner-up. Mrs L. Higgins. Avondale foursomes: Mrs J. V. Buras and Mrs R. O. Reynolds; runnersup. Mrs M. R. Rousham and Mrs A. B. 8001. An eclectic competition resulted:—A grade: gross. Mrs V. Atkinson; net. Mrs J C.. Barrett. B grade: gross, Mrs A. Dickey: not, Mrs A. D. Nicholls. A four-ball bogey match was won by : Mrs R. O. Reynolds and Miss A. Chapman. Other competitions resulted: —driving, . Mrs T. McCleary; approaching, Mr* A. ; Martin; putting. Mrs C. B. McNatty. !
